On August 27th, Queen Latifah in collaboration with HSN will launch The Queen Collection, a line that will encompass women of all sizes. Clothing will retail under $100; handbags and outerwear will retail between $170 and $300. In an interview to promote her line of clothing and accessories, Latifah said, "We all want to wear beautiful, fly clothes no matter what size you are. I felt like larger girls were not respected, even though we are huge consumers."
The Queen went on to say that the term plus-size "is a word we need to bury at this point." We couldn't agree more.
